The J Collection is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and following guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control Prevention (CDC) the World Health Organization (WHO), and local health agencies. The safety and well-being of guests and associates is our top priority. Please see below for an update on our policies and procedures that have been put in place during these uncertain times.
Temporarily Suspended Operations
Several J Collection Hotels have closed due to the global pandemic. The following hotels expect to resume hotel operations in 2021:
Housekeeping service is currently limited to room cleaning every three days. Our restaurants and bars are temporarily closed, however The Daily Grind Coffee Shop (The Jung Hotel) remains open. Additionally, you may experience limited availability and /or closures at our pools and fitness centers. Valet parking is available at the Bourbon Orleans, Hotel Mazarin, and Hotel le Marais.
New & Existing Reservations
J Collection hotels are allowing modifications and waiving cancellation fees up to 24 hours prior to arrival. This includes pre-paid and advance purchase reservations. If you cancel a rate that required a deposit or payment in advance, we will process your refund as quickly as possible. Refunds may take up to 120 days for hotels to process from the date of cancellation. Reservations may be changed without a fee but may result in different pricing.
Bookings via third party sites - please contact the administration where the booking was made, either the hotel or third-party (i.e. Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.) in order to cancel a reservation, modify a reservation, or request a refund.

In response to the global pandemic, we have thoroughly reviewed our existing health and safety processes and developed new cleanliness standard operating procedures. Our cleaning methods include utilizing EPA-approved products as well as opting for additional sanitization of high-touch point areas such as lobbies, elevators, courtyards, hand rails, stairwells, etc. In each guestroom, we are instructing hotel staff to be extra diligent in sanitizing guestrooms including TVs, remote controls, tables, doorknobs, light switches, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks. Additionally, you can count on the following safety measures at all J Collection Hotels:
- All linens sanitized in high-temperature wash
- Face masks required for guests in public areas
- Face masks required for staff in public areas
- Hand sanitizer available to guests & staff
- Paid stay-at-home policy for staff with symptoms
- Regularly sanitized high-traffic areas
- Staff required to regularly wash hands
- Regular temperature checks for staff
- Ozone generators to sanitize hotel spaces & surfaces
